Space @ My Humble House
with Amy, Yang Heng & Yang Chiak!

we decided to go there altogether when yang met amy at the chalet over the weekends. me and amy have been wanting to use this voucher we exchanged for. but if we were to ask more along, its gonna be more worthwhile cos we can order more food & try more of course!

Space is actually a sub of My Humble House & they are all under the Tung Lok Restaurants, headed by Chef Sam Leong.

Lack of photos all thanks to yang! i left my camera on his table and asked him to keep in his bag, he went to wash his mug, came back to his desk and forgot all abt my camera! feeling a lil disappointed cos we cld have taken so many photos of the place, the food & the great company of course! its a rare chance i go dinner with amy & whats more the 4 of us together!

its a very fuzzy feeling inside when u see how much an-aspiring-chef-to-be is enjoying the food .. snapping photos of the garnishes with his phone(im referring to chiaky anyway) its nice to dine with people whom enjoys the food, passionate abt it.. it makes the overall dining experience more meaningful isn't it?


i cld feel how much chiaky was enjoying himself. while yang & amy craps the meal away. me and chiaky were both busy munching on the stuff.. heh heh, and of course we ate the most!


they serve chinese food but of course, since its under the care of Chef Sam Leong, everything was of higher standard and much more effortful. though they serve very common dishes like chicken rice & bak kut teh in a more enhanced taste.

the worth noted point of this restaurant is that they change their menu on a weekly basis. that means that every guest gets to taste different starters, main courses and desserts every week they dine in Space. the down point to the ever changing menu is that u may not be able to go back for something u like! and also, theres a limited variety to choose frm. yest's menu was made up for 3 starters, 4 main courses and 3 desserts. well, don't be disappointed too early! u can actually order food frm My Humble House, which is just beside Space. in a more extensive menu at a fatter price! ;)

its reasonable for me.. to think of the brand & the ambience u're paying for..

after dinner we went to Hagen Daz for ice cream! yummms! wanted to take away and catch up with some singing performance down at the main hall.. but by the time we were ready with our cups of ice cream, the performance ended already =/

so to be romantic, we walked down to the bay with the very calming night view of marina bay. had ice cream, bought drinks and chit chat.. :) i always enjoy this kinda thing u knw!

amy entertained the brothers by singing 'Hou Lai' & 'Maria'

'Maria' must be very special to yang! haha, cause its frm the movie he really love and also, he told amy last sat that she shld learn singing and the next time they meet, she muz perform for him. she really did! i told u nt to dare amy :p

it was a really relaxing night. cause i was with people im comfortable with :) and i saw how true brotherhood is all about. the love btw the yang brothers impressed me quite abit..and i hope i can love my siblings the same way..

me and amy decided that we shld bring the yang brothers out for meals more often.. they love to eat yet there so many gd food that they havent tried before! manz. amy agrees that it feels gd to bring ppl who appreciates good food out to enjoy! i'm excited to for the next few treats, cos i'm so sure they will love wad we recommend.

so 4 of us made a pact, to save up for a monthly good treat! and that also made me more determined to start my daily exercise. frm today onwards! swimming at least 3 times a week.. heh, not really to slim down, but at least keep my body working.. health is impt u knw!

and so.. the night ended by sweet msgs with the yang brothers :)
